I've posted two pictures of Finn's recent artwork. The first is the most amazing. As you can see, she drew a face with eyes, nose, mouth, hair. Also, you will see hands and feet (coming directly off of the head). I asked Finn who it was. She said "Papa". The square beneath Papa is a "marshpillow". The dots on Papa's face are "sprinkles". And the squiggle in the corner is her signature. As parents, it is amazing to see your kid make a picture that actually looks like something. I think Papa would have really liked his portrait!
The second picture is just a bunch of faces that she drew. She didn't tell me if they were portraits of any specific person.

The pictures ARE amazing! It's great to see Finn take the step to drawing actual faces.
Somebody call Emily Carr University! We gotsa genius here!
Well... I'm not so sure about the genius status. I was just informed by her babysitter that Finn's toileting issues have now caused the other girls to regress. So... I guess we could say that she may not be smart... but she is influential.
Great art work Finn, very Picassoesque with the limbs coming out of the head.
For those of you who never met my dad... you should know that he didn't have a torso...his arms and legs did in fact come directly out of his head. So her picture is remarkably accurate.
